Going from RN to MD

A friend was asked the other day: Why nurses today don't want to further their education and become doctors. This was her response: "No, we don't want to be doctors.  And no, it's not because we're not smart enough. We love our profession and we wouldn't trade it for anything. The main reason is that doctors have too much responsibility and they treat too many patients." Would you go from RN to MD?  So many (including Dr. Charles) have done exactly that!

Have a Little Faith

When the disciples were unable to heal a man with a demon, they asked Jesus, Why couldn't we drive it out? He replied, "Because you have so little faith.  Truly, I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain move from here to there, and it will move". Nothing will be impossible for you. When it comes to completing your nursing program or starting a new business, you MUST have a little faith!

NCLEX Exam

No matter what you do, no matter how many times you screw up, and think to your self "there's no point to carry on", no matter how many people tell you that you can't do it - keep going. Don't quit because a month from now, you will be that much closer to your goal than you are now. Yesterday you said tomorrow.  Make today count. Congratulations to one of our clients who successfully passed her NCLEX-RN exam this month. She refused to quit.

Count Your Blessings

Count your blessings.  Name them one by one.  When you think life sucks, take a moment to remember that you are better off than a lot of people.  This also pertains to having your own business. The first year of a business starting up or expanding can be very frustrating. You need to keep things in perspective and simply be grateful for what you do have.  Eventually, the financial blessings will come.  In the meantime, be patient!
